First, remove the body shell of the LDRC LD18401 RC car. Take care when taking apart the unit; tiny screws are prone to going missing. LDRC LD18401 chassis picture is attached below.
Keep all detached screws from the LDRC RC car in a storage bag to prevent loss.
When the LDRC LD18401 chassis frame is uncovered, disconnect the vehicle’s lighting cables from the circuit board. These light wires are installed snugly, requiring careful pulling during removal.
After removing the two bottom screws, LDRC LD18401 gearbox and motor of the LDRC LD18401 can be taken out directly.
Proceed to remove the screws securing LDRC LD18401 gearbox and detach the gearbox casing. Once the interior fasteners are undone, the motor can be extracted.
