Appearance & Build of JJRC Q130C RC Car:
The JJRC Q130C has a cool-looking body, featuring a front bumper, roof-mounted LED light, side anti-scratch strips, and a rear bumper. The body shell uses secure R-clips with anti-loss nuts on the wheels, which are 32mm wide and 72mm in diameter. For smaller-scale RC cars, these anti-loss R-clips are quite popular and reliable.

The LED light bar on the roof connects to the ESC via a DuPont plug. The body shell design is impressive—well-crafted and comes with a protective film out of the box. It’s recommended to remove the nylon body parts first before peeling the film off for a cleaner result, revealing a glossy, attractive surface underneath.
Notably, the body shell features vent slots in both the front and back, which help improve airflow and cooling inside the chassis—a rare feature for RC cars of this scale.

Chassis & Suspension of JJRC Q130C RC Car:
The chassis uses a 4-wheel independent suspension system, and the shock absorption performance is outstanding—comparable or even better than some well-known brands. The metal chassis plate is made from aluminum alloy with upward-curved edges and nylon bumpers at both ends. The front and rear bumpers have energy-absorbing hollow sections, helping reduce damage during impacts. The bumpers and energy-absorbing components are modular and replaceable, making repairs easy and efficient.

The nylon frame is independent, and the adjustable body posts are individually mounted, making maintenance easier. The side guards use a honeycomb mesh design, which enhances their structural strength.

Electronics of JJRC Q130C RC Car:
This is a brushless model, equipped with a 2847 motor rated at 3200KV. The ESC has been upgraded to 45A from the previous 35A version. You’ll also find plugs for the LED lights, cooling fan, and receiver. The 17g steering servo uses a standard 3-wire connection.

The steering assembly is exceptionally well-designed, with minimal play thanks to metal connectors, adjustable ball-end tie rods, and bearings at all pivot points. The servo saver spring is adjustable via a threaded collar, allowing you to fine-tune the steering stiffness.

The lower suspension arms feature a hollow design, with the shock mounting point hidden inside for added protection. The hub carriers are striking in red anodized metal, which stands out visually and adds performance appeal.

The upper suspension arms are robust, with an adjustable-length slot in the middle, and the factory setup gives the car a toed-in stance for better handling. Both front and rear camber and toe angles are adjustable.
Drivetrain of JJRC Q130C RC Car:
The drive system is also very well made. It includes metal dog bones, CVD axles, and stainless steel drive cups. Bearings are visible throughout, and the metal 12mm wheel hexes are painted red to match the performance look.

The tires are improved over the previous Q130 models, featuring foam inserts and vent holes. While the official tire diameter is listed as 75mm, measurements show it to be closer to 72mm, possibly due to the knobby tread.
The oil-filled shocks are excellent, offering great support and damping. The lower arms also have limiters installed, both front and rear, to control suspension travel.
From underneath, you can clearly see A-arm and B-arm mounts. These appear to be made from aluminum alloy, not zinc alloy, and are in natural metal color, suggesting higher quality.

The ESC even comes with an oversized external capacitor, which is quite impressive for a small-scale car.

Looking through the second-level deck, you can see the center drivetrain, which is a dog bone and drive cup system. According to specs, the front and rear differentials use powder alloy gears, though actual strength needs to be verified through field testing.

Overall Impression of JJRC Q130C RC Car:
I’m very satisfied with both the chassis and the body shell. The front ride height is slightly elevated, but it can be lowered via adjustments. All in all, this car looks great and performs well—a solid model in both appearance and performance.
Overall, the JJRC Q130C delivers outstanding looks and performance, making it a fantastic choice for hobbyists and beginners alike.
